OR HOW I STARTED THIS GREAT ADVENTURE
If I had to introduce myself and tell you about my path to becoming a wedding planner how would I do it? Would I talk about my background? Would I elaborate on both my student and professional background? Would I talk about what I love?
Yes, without a doubt, because behind my wedding planner agency Un jardin de Lumières, is my identity.
MY STORY AND MY BACKGROUND
In my childhood, I was always surrounded by an open and creative universe, certainly due to the diversity of my multicultural origins. Thus, I practiced music and dance for a long time.
During my studies, I turned to history, art and management of heritage and culture. Fields in which my sensitivity to art could blossom, art in what it represents of beautiful, aesthetic, unique, different. I found myself there.
In parallel to my studies, I worked for 5 years in commerce. A precious experience which not only made me gain in responsibilities but also showed me the importance of the relationship with its customers and that to be able to answer their expectations.
MY PATH TO BECOMING

Then, I was lucky enough to be asked to take a position as a junior event project manager and it was a real revelation for me, an obviousness. I was in my element. Throughout my various experiences, I carried out very versatile missions that were similar to those of a wedding planner. Demanding missions as I am by nature and like to be in my work. The world of events became like a second skin. The path continued to be made. I was just missing that little something that makes you tip over and make the right decision.
DARES TO TAKE THE STEP ...
The triggering event was my own wedding.
Based on my experiences, I decided to organize it. What a challenge for me at the time!
On a personal level, I wanted to have a wedding that would be just like us, my fiancé and me.
Professionally, I had the intuition that this event could be an important step in my legitimacy and my deep desire to do this job.
Goal achieved !
It was a beautiful and successful day for us and all our guests. For me, it was even more so because it confirmed my project.
I had succeeded in organizing a wedding from A to Z by breaking the codes and especially by making possible our desires and wishes.
The result was a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Our guests and ourselves keep the memory of privileged, intimate and very joyful moments, revealing an organizational success.
Comforted by the success of our wonderful wedding and encouraged by the positive feedback from my family and friends and by the professional look of the vendors, I launched myself. As for a wedding, I said yes, I said yes to who I am, to my desires, to my skills.
Certified Wedding planner and event designer by the International Wedding Institute, in January 2019, I finally created my agency: un Jardin de Lumières. An agency created to accompany you, future brides and grooms, in the organization of your wedding and to be at your side to create this unique event and make all your desires possible!
